North Mara Gold Mine Plant
Brine plant mechanical installation & electrical control and instrumentation.
The North Mara gold mine is located in north-west Tanzania in the Tarime district of the Mara region. It is around 100 kilometres east of Lake Victoria and 20 kilometres south of the Kenyan border. The mine is a combined open pit and underground operation from two deposits, Gokona (underground) and Nyabirama (open pit).
The process plant has the capacity to process an average of 8,000 tonnes of ore per day. We were involved in the brine plant mechanical installation & electrical control and instrumentation. Combining skill sets and experience from cross team employees allows us to leverage different insights, approaches and problem-solving skills that are valuable to achieve sustainable and balanced growth.
Gold mining is a major economic driver for many countries across the world, including Tanzania. It is a major contributor to economic growth due to the creation of employment and business opportunities for local people. As well as direct and indirect jobs, gold mining also brings foreign direct investment and tax revenues to countries.
