As a Site HR Officer, you’ll be the key connector between the field and our people-first values, managing everything from onboarding and payroll to compliance and subcontractor relations.
Just like a well-kept notebook that records what matters, you’ll keep our site operations aligned with labour laws, internal processes, and human connection. Your role will help us build an engaged, safe, and productive workforce from the ground up.
1. Operational
Recruitment, Selection & Induction:
Process all Recruitment Request Forms (RRF) on time
Ensure medical exams, job descriptions, PPE, and contracts are provided pre-employment
Conduct HR site inductions and collect onboarding documents
Payroll Management:
Report deductions, absenteeism, etc.
Verify and ensure documentation is complete
Distribute manual payslips where required
Submit payroll data to HQ in a timely manner
Collect & record attendance and approved overtime
Labour Subcontractor Management:
Ensure subcontractor compliance with site rules and Tanzanian labour laws
Maintain masterlist of subcontracted employees
Monitor entries/exits and absenteeism
Report discrepancies and non-compliance
2. Planning
Maintain regularly updated HR documentation
Ensure discipline and time management
Administer personnel records including sickness, absenteeism, holidays
Ensure employment contracts are valid and up to date
Report site matters to HR Lead/Manager
3. People
Promote a "One Family" CSI Energy Group culture

4. Reporting & Analysis
Continuously report, analyze, and improve HR processes for better site operations
5. Budget Management
Manage the site HR budget and ensure effective use
6. HSEQ
Ensure office visitors and contractors undergo induction with HSE Department
7. Compliance
Comply with HR policies and procedures
Adhere to all relevant labour laws and employment regulations
Promote awareness through training and communication
Ensure operations align with legal and policy standards
8. Other Duties
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management
Education: Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
Work Experience: Minimum 4 years
Computer Skills: Above average proficiency in Excel and Word
Language: Fluent in written and spoken English and Swahili
